11th Southgate Scouts
Our Cub Pack meets on Tuesday evenings from 7-00pm to 9-00pm
Scouts are young people, aged between 10 1/2 and and 14
Scouts are do-ers and give-it-a-go-ers. Yes, we go camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling and canoeing.
But, we also get to hang out with our friends every week – having fun, playing games, working in a team and taking on new challenges.
Scouts are a go-getting group of young people aged 10 ½ to 14 who:
Master new skills and try new things
Make new friends
Have fun and go on adventures, at home and abroad
Explore the world around them
Help others and make a difference, in their own communities and beyond
Every week, they gather in groups called Patrols to work together as a team and learn learn leadership skills and to conquer the world.

Our Scout uniform consists of navy blue activity trousers and a green shirt and a scarf or "necker" that represents our group. We also have agroup T-Shirt that will be presented when you join.
You will be presented with a scout woggle to wear with your scarf and all your badges will be sewn on your green shirt.
Uniform can either be bought from the online shop - Scout Store - or from a local supplier. If you’re stuck, ask any adult volunteer, they can to tell you more about what to buy and where to buy it. If cost is an issue, they will be more than happy to try to help.
